Farm Safety Days was held in Salemburg, North Carolina this past Saturday. This is the second year I have donated my time to photograph this event. Everybody volunteer’s their time for the kids.

The idea is based around farm safety. It is held on a working farm and the kids see equipment coming and going during the day. They are fed hotdogs for lunch and all seem to have a great time. It was pretty hot on Saturday out in the sun but the kids held up well. As well as learning about farm safety, they learn general safety. I brought my daughter this year and we live in Raleigh, far from a farm. She is still talking about it.
