The first Friday of every month in Raleigh, the art galleries open their doors during the evening. It is a great time to get out, walk through the galleries and meet new people.

Before the walk this week, many of us met before hand to socialize a bit and then walked around a local train yard causing trouble with our cameras. Train yards are great for finding abstract urban scenes and well trains. We did have a train rumble by, but I did not get a shot of it. The daylight was waning and we were just goofing around. It is fun on occasion to just walk around with your camera and with no shoot in mind. Let the camera do the walking.
