Summer is here!!

The YMCA pool opened this morning at 10:00. We were there after getting new bathing suits, goggles and sunscreen. Water was cold, but not bad enough to keep me out. Certainly not bad enough to keep these two out.

The summer brings on a whole new season of photography for me. More daylight means dealing with more dramatic light. It also means I have to contend with spashing water, the heat of a car and how that can cause problems with the camera. Humidity, God I hate the humidity. But summer is a great season. Not my favorite, but living in NC is great. No season is so bad.

This was shot with a Canon 5D and a Canon 50/1.4. Don’t recall the aperture, but it was around 3.0.
